One of the least welcome days of my life was February 19th. Two of the most talented students in our class bid their fellow classmates farewell. The most significant and well-known river in Bhutan was the location of a straightforward farewell gathering organized by our classmates under the direction of our two class organizers. There were several gifts waiting for us near the Punatsangchu River. A species of unidentified bird, a gust of chilly wind, and a comforting source of oxygen were all things that one may constantly crave. The cake cutting ceremony and class lunch were the first formal events of the day. We toasted to the two with a bonjour toast in the afternoon coming to a halt. I felt depressed after the incident since I had to say goodbye to them. I'm hoping that they made a commitment to keep in touch with me always.
